Shuksan Lighting the New Year
This painting was created on a ski tour to artist point on New Year's Eve. The musical mountaineers played their violin and piano in the snow as I sat and painted. The paint froze as I painted creating ice patterns on the landscape of my paper.
My prints are giclée printed, a type of printing process that uses archival pigments that reproduce the tones and hues of the original painting. It is a standard for museum quality printing and will last 100+ years.
