I painted this from the summit of Granite Mountain at sunrise while Rose Freeman and Anastasia Allison played music. We woke up at 2 AM so we could hike up Granite mountain and see the sunrise. Rose and Anastasia carried their instruments on their backs so they could offer their music to the mountains. I had paper strapped to my pack so I could paint in their company. Check it out here. Their music offering to the mountains inspired the colors, lines and energy of this painting.
My prints are giclée printed, a type of printing process that uses archival pigments that reproduce the tones and hues of the original painting. It is a standard for museum quality printing and will last 100+ years.
